Specific areas of support include preparing the annual budget, interpreting financial results, and preparing financial analysis.

In this role, you will perform the following essential functions:

• Assist and coordinate development of annual capital and operating budgets, including multi-year projections and forecasts.

• Review financial data and perform research, analysis and interpretation of the results.

• Prepare and distribute internal reports and special requested reports ensuring the reports contain accurate financial, cost or budget data.

• Prepare analysis of various revenue and expense information to aid budgetary efforts, decision making or operational improvement initiatives.

• Prepare routine and ad hoc financial analyses to assist operations management in successful financial performance and development of strategic plans.

• Assist in the development of financial projections and assist with business plans for continued assessment of locations, services and lines of business.

• Provide assistance and education on financial concepts and the use of financial systems to the management team.

• Collaborate with other UPH Finance, Analytic and Accounting teams as needed.

• Provide status reports on a regular basis for assigned projects.

• Completes special projects and reports as assigned.

• Performs other duties as requested by supervisor to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the department.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area.
Experience:

• Experience with various computer software applications utilizing spreadsheets, manipulating data and querying databases.

• Use of Lawson

• Use of EPIC

• Use of StrataJazz
