The Echocardiogram Technician utilizes ultrasound technology to obtain images of the cardiac system. Images obtained by the Tech measure the performance and functionality of multiple aspects of the heart. This position works closely with physicians in diagnosing problems with the heart and vascular system, as well as promoting cardiovascular health. Echocardiogram Technicians also assist with a multitude of other non-invasive cardiac testing such as 12-lead echocardiograms, stress tests, and external event monitoring initiation.
This position will be required to cross train to other areas in Cardiology.

License(s)/Certification(s): | Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer registration (RDCS) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or from Cardiac Credentialing International Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. | |
