Under the direction of the Radiology management staff and in coordination with the Radiologist, the Computed Tomography Technologist provides care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Responsible for providing timely and effective services to the customers of the Radiology Department, assuring the professional and technical process is carried out.

Education: | Associates of Applied Science - Radiologic Technology Program | Bachelor’s Degree |
Experience: | 3 years of prior CT experience. | |
License(s)/Certification(s): | Current, unexpired Iowa Radiologic Technologist license Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist. BLS within 3 months of hire. Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. | Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Computed Tomography Technologist. |
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: | Organizational, verbal, interpersonal/communication skills, customer relations, analytical, comprehend written directions, follow verbal instructions. Must be able to read and write English fluently. | |
Other: | Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position. |
