Are you a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a passion for laboratory work in a family medicine setting? Join our team at Pleasant Hill Family Med as we deliver exceptional care to our patients.

In this role you will:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for laboratory testing.
Prepare and process specimens for analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laboratory protocols.
Perform CLIA-waived laboratory tests such as urinalysis, rapid strep tests, and glucose monitoring.
Maintain laboratory equipment, conduct quality control checks, and ensure proper documentation of results.
Assist healthcare providers in obtaining and reviewing laboratory results, and communicate findings to patients.
Manage inventory of laboratory supplies, reorder as needed, and ensure proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials.

Assist with rooming of patients and other CMA duties as assigned.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
Experience in phlebotomy and laboratory procedures in a clinical setting.
Knowledge of CLIA regulations and experience with CLIA-waived testing.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation.
Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
