The Clinical Nurse uses clinical nursing knowledge, physical assessment, teaching and procedural skills to deliver high quality patient care in the ambulatory setting, including, but not limited to the following duties:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures.
• Specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis.
• Medication and/or vaccine administration.
• Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling.
• Test result management and tracking as determined by provider.
• Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal.

• Current License to Practice, RN/LPN (State of Iowa).
• High school diploma.
• BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
