Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing
- Conduct facilities maintenance including minor repairs and upkeep
- Handle floor care duties such as vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and buffing floors
- Execute commercial cleaning duties in various areas of the facility
- Act as a porter to assist with moving supplies and furniture
- Clean and maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Follow custodial schedules and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Ability to clean and maintain various surfaces effectively
- Strong attention to detail in custodial duties
- Physical stamina to handle prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
