Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Unity Rd. Dispensary Associate to handle guest transactions while providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you'll also share information on cannabis and cannabis-infused products, Unity Rd. services, and upcoming specials and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience for all guests and patients
  • Offer tours of our Unity Rd. shop to first-time visitors
  • Assist customers in product selection, tailored to their preferences and needs
  • Maintain a clean and inviting environment on the shop floor
  • Process guest and patient transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Calculate product costs and manage payments
  • Address customer inquiries about products or services
  • Identify upsell opportunities to enhance the customer experience
  • Enroll guests in our loyalty rewards program
  • Pursue ongoing cannabis education and product exploration
  • Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement, ensuring accuracy and proper use of shelf tags
  • Ensure compliance during transactions
  • Keep front-of-house inventory stocked and organized
  • Assist with periodic shop inventory audits

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Prior customer service experience (preferred)
  • Retail/cannabis sales experience (preferred)
  • Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods
  • Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations
  • Ability to pass background check (This involves a $68 fingerprinting fee that we will reimburse you for)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs (e.g., Word, Weedmaps, Canva)
