This position is responsible for assisting with the execution of all internal audit and risk management consulting activity within designated specialty areas for the company. This position is also responsible for supporting the operations, methodology, and associated tools and technologies of internal audit and advisory services within UHC Global, primarily supporting South America.

This position is a hybrid role in Minnetonka, MN.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist audit management or audit lead in the execution of internal audits including audit planning, detailing control procedures, and the related testing and reporting in accordance with professional and departmental standards – including financial (i.e. Sarbanes-Oxley testing) and operational projects
• Prepare clear, accurate and complete workpapers in accordance with department quality standards; meet project timelines and deliverable due dates
• Identify audit issues and perform root cause analysis with practical corrective solutions
• As necessary, perform follow-up on assigned audit report action plans to ensure that the business partners have completed agreed upon action
• Participate on special projects undertaken by the department and/or the Company
• Prepare and distribute internal reporting systems to measure, monitor, and track progress toward audit plan execution, department goals and other initiatives
• Assist in the creation and translation of audit materials and processes into Spanish

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, technology or related discipline
• 1 years of relevant business experience
• Fluent in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuit of audit, assurance or risk related certification
• 2 years of relevant business experience including some audit experience
• Sarbanes-Oxley internal control experience
• Healthcare Industry or Public Accounting experience
• Experience working in a complex IT/IS environment
• Experience working in a culturally diverse international environment
• Understanding of internal control concepts and their practical application

Soft Skills/Abilities:

• Solid interpersonal skills while working effectively with a team
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal), including business professional communication and presentation skills
• Desire to make a positive impact with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities
