As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Along the way, you'll discover the training, support, and career opportunities you'd expect from a Fortune 6 leader. This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It's a fast - paced, high - volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes lifesaving medications in an accurate and efficient manner. 

Location: 8400 ESTERS BLVD STE 185 IRVING, TX 75063

Schedule: Monday - Friday, will work an 8-hour shift between the business hours of 8:30am – 6:30pm 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information
• Process prescriptions
• Answer phone calls
• Ability to collaborate with pharmacists and nurses on a daily basis
• Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
• Pulling and staging the medications for compounding
• Understanding of USP797 sterile guidelines
• May need to stock medications as needed
• May need to assist with labeling and organizing medications and supplies as needed
• May need to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously as needed
• May include other duties as assigned by the PIC

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas
• 1 years of pharmacy technician experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 1 years of Home Infusion experience
• Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience with CPR
