As a Senior Pharmacy Care Technician, you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members and their physicians/pharmacies to improve health quality outcomes (i.e., medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm CST

Location: 2655 Warrenville Rd Downers Grove, IL 60515 (5th floor)

If you reside in Illinois, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges. You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform telephonic customer outreach to improve health quality outcomes in collaboration with clinical pharmacists
• Provide additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies
• Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements, triaging to a clinical pharmacist when appropriate
• Outbound calls to CAHPs detractors and MedAdhmembers to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence drugs
• Document and track member engagement

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience 
• Beginner level of proficiency with navigating Microsoft Office and a Windows-based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience
• Experience with Part D claims adjudication
