As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Location: This is an on-site position located at 485 N Juniper Drive, Chandler, AZ 85226

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift between 8am – 7pm AZ Time, with rotational weekend/holidays based on business needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information
  • Process refill prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
  • Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
  • Perform telephonic outreach (inbound/outbound calls) to patients & schedule medication deliveries
  • Works closely with Pharmacist and Nursing teams to provide excellent patient care
  • Other duties as assigned

This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information. Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to work at desk majority of shift
  • Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift between 8am – 7pm AZ Time, with rotational weekend/holidays based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Home Infusion experience 
  • Specialty Pharmacy experience
  • Previous customer service experience
