Primary Responsibilities:

Perform complex financial analysis to manage contract guarantees
Build financial models in support of company - wide initiatives
Extract and compile utilization data to support customer reporting requirements
Provide accurate pharmacy data analytics and reports
Perform data mining and analysis that provides insights to pharmacy utilization
Support reserve development
Analyze and interpret quantitative data
Create and review monthly / quarterly and ad hoc exhibits based on detailed data sets
Collaborate and communicate results and technical concepts
Develop data reporting capabilities and proactively identify solutions to problems

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher
Must be on the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
2 years of experience working in a corporate environment including experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative / quantitative data
Expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

1 years of experience building Actuarial models in SQL (Structured Query Language)
1 years of experience in school or professional setting building Actuarial models using SAS (Statistical Analysis System)
Experience working in finance or the health care industry
A basic level of proficiency with MS Access

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
