We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: This is a Part Time role; will be working 16 hours per week (2 days per week at Holland site); will also be required to cover other sites of Benton Harbor and Stanton as needed but will not work more than 16 hours per week

Location: Home Site - 12265 JAMES STREET BLDG A HOLLAND, MI 49424 (Pharmacy Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Manage daily checklists
• Other duties as assigned
• Will be required to make daily deliveries (furthest delivery up to 30 minutes away); will be using your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage; usually making deliveries to doctors’ offices or facilities (very rarely to residences)
• Will be required to cover PTO’s and callouts at Benton Harbor and Stanton sites as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Michigan
• Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver’s license
• Ability to make daily deliveries up to 30 minutes away (mainly to doctors’ offices and facilities, rarely to residences)
• Ability to cover PTO’s and callouts at Stanton (1.5 hours away) and Benton Harbor (1 hour away) sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Bilingual Spanish
• 6 months of pharmacy technician experience
