In this role, you will support the development of training curriculum for the Content Center Operations team within Enterprise Clinical Services. This role will work across the full spectrum of training support to our customers – new development, management of existing content as well as scheduled and ad-hoc communications – to increase the performance of our operations partners and the delivery of training. This role also supports the development of content to drive performance improvement of our customers front line staff.. You will consult and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) within operations as well as peers across the Optum Enterprise Training (OET) team to determine appropriate training solutions that achieve the desired results of the customer.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work adjusted schedules or occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Effective design of training programs and materials across the OptumHealth operations teams through the design and development of instructor-led and self-paced learning solutions
• Consult and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) within operations as well as peers across the Optum Enterprise Training (OET) team
• Work across the full spectrum of training support - new development, management of existing content as well as scheduled and ad-hoc communications - to increase the performance of our operations partners
• 25% of time may be used to deliver classroom or virtual training depending on customer need and capacity

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in Instructional Design, Training, Modern Learning concepts and application
• 2 years of Delivery experience conducting in person/virtual classroom training
• 2 years using Microsoft Office applications to develop learning content

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and developing training for adults within a corporate environment
• Experience developing performance-based training content at a faster-than-industry pace
• Experience working within the Healthcare industry
• Experience performing project management tasks (training focus)
• Experience using Articulate 360, Camtasia, Microsoft Teams and/or SharePoint to develop learning solutions
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems
• Knowledge of and experience using basic visual design principles

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
