The Business Process Consultant in Cozeva Operations Team will be responsible for providing support to Optum market being onboarded as well as operational on Cozeva as a part of OptumCare strategic platform quality tool to improve effectiveness and performance of quality program and overall STARs rating. Candidate will also act as a project lead and business analyst for the team and will be responsible for creating business requirements, completing data flow diagrams, process documentation and improvement. Candidates should be able to demonstrate flexibility and be adaptable to change and possess good independent decision-making capabilities. Candidate will be responsible for supporting key business decisions, data provenance, UI validation, HEDIS measure validation, and health plan submission processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Focus on implementation and operational aspects of assigned Optum markets utilizing Cozeva
  • Act as a liaison between Optum markets, Cozeva (Vendor) and other stakeholders (data teams, health plans)
  • Leads complex projects that require cross functional coordination
  • Responsible for issue management and facilitate solutioning to improve Cozeva adoption
  • Create, maintain and communicate quality data flow diagrams
  • Gather requirements, create business requirement document and perform UAT on Cozeva enhancements

Required Qualifications:

  • Healthcare Quality experience
  • Reporting, Data or Business analysis experience
  • Possession of solid analytical/statistical skills used in evaluating and analyzing data
  • Advanced Computer Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook, Smartsheet)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years demonstrated experience in managed care environment
  • Experience in HealthCare quality, HEDIS, STARs programs
  • Experience using Smartsheet
  • Experience working with Quality software tool (such as Cozeva), EMRs

Soft Skills:

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Proven team player and team building skills
  • Ability/flexibility to assume responsibilities and tasks in a constantly changing work environment
