United Wholesale Mortgage is Hiring a Technical Training Specialist- Software Development Near Pontiac, MI

 

Information Technology is one of the fastest-growing teams within United Wholesale Mortgage, and we need an experienced Technical Training Specialist to get our Technology team members up and running and functioning at the highest level! The Technical Training Specialist will be responsible for the progression of team members in our Software Developer role. The Technical Training Specialist will facilitate trainings in everything from technology (.NET, JavaScript, SQL, C#, etc.) to process and architecture. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will also be responsible for aiding leadership in architecting existing and future training programs.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working as a Software Developer using C#
  • 3 years of experience facilitating highly technical trainings in a classroom environment
  • Experience using SQL Server in an enterprise environment
  • Extensive knowledge of web based technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience creating assessments in vendor tools such as HackerRank
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum
  • Extensive knowledge of SDLC
  • Great communication and team-building skills
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills

Nice To Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Proven experience of Articulate Storyline360 and Rise360 to develop interactive computer-based training modules

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Partnering with IT leadership to provide accurate, relevant, and effective training
  • Partnering with subject matter experts (SMEs) within different areas of Technology to identify upcoming training needs based on company initiatives
  • Collaborate with leaders to establish and monitor metrics to ensure the success of the programs.
  • Assisting with Project management and execution of larger initiatives involving training
  • Developing assessments and evaluate learners progress
  • Developing training curriculum and content in collaboration with instructional designers
  • Mentoring and helping the other Technical Trainers on the team level-up their skills by sharing your experiences and knowledge of the industry
  • Facilitating workshops, Continuous Improvement courses, and full-time training courses for IT Team Members
  • Provide ongoing support to IT team members, including mentoring and coaching
  • Collaborating with fellow trainers within IT and other business areas to help our teams fulfill their training needs
