United Wholesale Mortgage is Hiring a Systems Administrator I Near Pontiac, MI

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join our team of experts and be involved in the rare opportunity to design and implement a new datacenter to support all of UWM’s operations. You will ensure the stable operation of our enterprise systems using a Plan, Build, Operate model.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Manage virtual server environment
  • Monitor systems uptime and performance
  • Install and upgrade hardware and software based on established procedures
  • Create and maintain design, operation and procedure documentation
  • Provide status reporting on projects and issues to leadership
  • Collaborate with team members on projects and issue resolution
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage or emergency response as needed

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required:

  • 2 years of professional experience administering VMware hypervisor in a production environment
  • Experience in building, maintaining and upgrading Windows Server 2008
  • Office 365 administration
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • On-site attendance Monday-Friday

Preferred:

  • BS or BA degree in Information Systems
  • MCP or MCSA
  • SCCM software deployment and imaging
  • Experience with Pure Storage arrays
