We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator to join our team of experts and be involved in the rare opportunity to build out and support UWM’s new campus network. You will ensure the stable operation of our enterprise network using a Plan, Build, Operate model.
Must Have Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience working in an enterprise network infrastructure
Computer-related degree or equivalent experience
Experience supporting Campus networks (Such as Cisco Catalyst switches, Fluke wire testing, IP Subnetting)
Understand different layers in OSI model
Advanced networking troubleshooting: Routing protocols, DHCP servers, desk drops
Experience patching Network Infrastructure (Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco Wireless controllers)
Communicate technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way
Able to follow and create detailed documentation including network diagrams
Able to create process documentation for other team members to use
Ability to work a flexible schedule, potentially nights and weekends to support off hours implementations
Highly driven self-starter, able to work independently and in a group
Nice to Have Qualifications:
Cisco CCNA or equivalent knowledge
Experience with Wireless LAN controllers (Cisco preferably)
Experience with Network Management tools including Solarwinds Orion, Cisco DNAC, and Ekahau wireless survey
Financial Services industry experience
Highly organized and high level of attention to detail
