How you’ll contribute The Patient Support Systems & Digital Strategy Associate Director is responsible for overseeing the selection, development, and performance of key systems and infrastructure supporting our patient support & engagement programs. Systems include, but are not limited to: CRM systems, telephony and CTI, program portals, chat, etc. The objective of our overall Patient Support Program is to is to ensure patients have the knowledge, resources, and logistical support necessary to help effectively manage their conditions and adhere to treatments prescribed by their HCP. This individual will play a key role in helping us meet our objective by working hand in hand with the patient relations leadership team, system users, IT, and external vendors to ensure clear business requirements, system readiness, reliability, and continuous improvement. System requirements and selection – lead the process to identify and document system requirements and capabilities. Partner with IT and patient relations leadership team on the vendor selection process. System development and implementation – oversee all vendor and internal activities related to the development and implementation of new patient support systems and capabilities. Partner with training teams to ensure end users receive comprehensive and accurate training on systems and digital tools. Project management – develop detailed project plans for all systems and digital tool implementations. Closely monitor and communicate risks and options for mitigation. Work closely with the patient relations leadership team to implement new programs and initiatives Continuous improvement – foster a culture of continuous improvement through user feedback, process and program improvement initiatives, and capability/system evolution based on an ever-evolving technology landscape All other duties as required All Patient Relations activities will be performed in a manner that is consistent with and compliant with all laws and company policies For this role you will need Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, business, or a related field with 12 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience In-depth experience utilizing CRM (e.g. Healthcloud, Salesforce) and related patient support services technologies Demonstrated ability to develop systems and processes with an orientation towards end-user experience, data visibility, and program/system measurement Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage cross functional stakeholders Strong vendor management skills Excellent organizational and project management skills to effectively size, scope, and execute multiple project with on-time deliverable dates Patient-centric mindset Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Experience with Salesforce or Healthcloud CRM platforms Ability to travel up to 10% Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in computer sciences, business, or a related field Experience with text or chat HIPPA compliant communication methods Experience with Tableau or similar business intelligence tools Rare disease and / or complex therapy administration experience At United Therapeutics, you’ll realize quickly that it is not an ordinary place to work!
