BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for contacting scheduled patients in accordance with registration and scheduling guidelines. Verify information, exam preparations, and check-in time.

ENVIRONMENTAL / WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office environment and involves frequent telephone contact with patients, referring physicians, etc.
Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive. Contact involves dealing with people who are sick.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS
Sitting for 7 to 8 hours per day. Requires hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity. Repetitive use of the hands. Vision must be correct to 20 / 20, and hearing must be in normal range.
Must be able to view computer screens and be on the telephone for long periods of time. Occasional stress related to workload and customer demands.
