The Central Business Organization Billing Supervisor has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement services within the department in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of customer service, maintain compliance with professionalism and Regulatory Processes. Interface with facility BOM’s, CFO’s, corporate departmental peers and upper management. Supervises Level I & Level II Billers as well as works closely with Billing Manager to make sure areas are properly staffed while fulfilling own daily duties.

• Ensures that Late Charges, DNFB & Hold Timeline reports are worked daily
• Assist with Special projects, training, Billing Guidelines and routine Billing Staff Huddles
• Answer Facility Emails
• Other duties as assigned in accordance with priority

• Ability to type preferred
• Understanding of Medical Terminology
• Basic understanding of billing guidelines and laws

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
• Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties
