Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Surgery Scheduler. As a Surgery Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures for our patients. This position requires strong administrative skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

Duties:
- Schedule surgical procedures for patients, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal patient care
- Coordinate with surgeons to schedule surgeries and necessary pre-operative appointments
- Obtain necessary authorizations and insurance approvals for surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, surgical consent forms, and insurance information
- Communicate with patients to provide pre-operative instructions and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate coding and billing for surgical procedures

Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or medical administrative support role is preferred

-Spanish Speaking is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology and surgical procedures
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems is a plus.
