JOB OVERVIEW
Job Description As a Service Worker/ Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations within the Senate campus. Your responsibilities include tracking, record-keeping, and inventory management, as well as transporting materials and supplies to and from various locations. You will operate vehicles and equipment safely and ensure the proper storage and retrieval of items. Join our team to be part of a vital support system for the Senate's logistical needs. Core Competencies
the Senate campus/community, which may include after hour or weekend work, and to potentially deploy to alternate sites in support of the Senate’s contingency operations.
Key Accountabilities/Essential Job Duties
Tracks and logs items; completes and records work orders and other record-keeping forms; operates a computer to access files; maintains manual and computerized records. Picks up and delivers materials, supplies, reports, documents, furniture, and office equipment throughout and also away from the Senate campus. Transports materials, supplies, reports, documents, furniture, and office equipment; operates motorized truckor other vehicle, and power and hand equipment; maintains daily vehicle inspection report. Performs inventory checks as necessary. Assists with workload in the Packaging & Flag area. Stores and retrieves items in and from proper locations; moves and stocks supplies and materials on shelves, in bins and other storage areas. Other duties as assigned.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
To be employed by a Senate employing office in a paid position in the continental United States an individual must:
1. Be a U.S. citizen;
2. Be lawfully admitted for permanent residence and seeking citizenship as outlined in 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)(B);
3. Be (i) admitted as a refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157 or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1158 and (ii) have filed a declaration of intention to become a lawful permanent resident and then a citizen when eligible; or
4. Owe allegiance to the U.S. (i.e., qualify as a non-citizen U.S. national under federal law).
