Solicitation of Applicants for Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement), GS-0201-07 / 09 / 11 / 12 under the Direct Hire Authority for Post-Secondary Students and Recent Graduates of the Department of Defense

How to apply : The United States Fleet Forces Command (USFF), Fleet Human Resources Office - Norfolk is accepting resumes to fill one or more vacancies for Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement) under the Direct Hire Authority for Post-Secondary Students and Recent Graduates of the Department of Defense.

USFF Command will evaluate and consider resumes as they are received through June 21, 2024, or until the position(s) is (are) filled.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities :

You will provide a full range of staffing advisory and program administration services for assigned commands.

You will provide input to serviced organizations for short and long-range analysis of civilian personnel staffing requirements and resources.

You will develop solutions and strategies for recruitment and retention problems.

You will provide guidance and expertise to managers and employees on all phases of the recruitment / placement process.

Who can qualify for the Recent Graduates Program : This program provides recent graduates with one to two-year developmental experiences in Federal agencies.

Applicants must have graduated from a qualifying educational institution or career or technical education program within the previous two years.

Veterans unable to apply due to service obligations have up to six years after degree completion to apply).
