**Job Summary:**
United Staff Group is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team for ESY 2023-2024 and NSY 2024-2025. The School Psychologist will work within an educational setting to support students' academic success, social-emotional well-being, and overall mental health.
**Duties:**
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Offer crisis intervention and support during difficult situations
- Utilize diagnostic evaluation techniques to assess students for learning disabilities or developmental disorders
- Implement evidence-based interventions to address academic and behavioral concerns
- Support students with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
**Qualifications:**
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current license as a School Psychologist in AZ
- Post-residency experience working with children and adolescents
- Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Experience in crisis intervention and social work settings
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools for educational purposes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff members
This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
