Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Services Technician to join our team. As an Farm Service Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of agricultural equipment as well as using said equipment to serve local farmers . This is a hands-on role that requires some mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities would include but not limited to:

• Loading/ unloading trucks, mixing fertilizer, preparing spraying rigs, delivering product
• Operate and maintain agricultural equipment, including spreaders, sprayers, fork lifts and other machinery.
• Deliver product and provide crop protection spraying and fertilizer spreading services to customer

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, experience in maintenance and repairs of large equipment, and be able to prioritize needs and complete assignments efficiently and effectively. The candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus.

• Comfortable using large equipment and trailers
• Some experience in farming or agriculture
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with agricultural equipment
• Ability to suspend heavy parts using appropriate lifting equipment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
• General understanding of farming

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
