Community Living Counselor – Young Adult Services Willimantic, CT

Young Adult Services (YAS)– Transitional Living House (Willimantic)

Young Adult Services Program provides a diverse array of services including clinical, case management, vocational, recreational, transitional living and housing services for young adults, ages 18-25, who have a diagnosed mental illness and are in need of community-based support services in the Willimantic area. This position will provide individual support and group counseling in a transitional living setting.

Community Living Counselor Minimum Requirements 1st and 2nd shift: Associate's degree in human services field, plus two years relevant experience required or Bachelor’s degree in relevant human services field.

Community Living Counselor (Young Adult Services: YAS) Schedule:

1st Shift:

• Full- time - Thursday - Monday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

2nd shift:

• Full-time - Sunday - Thursday, 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm
• Part Time, 16hours/week - Friday & Saturday, 12:30 pm- 9:00 pm
• A flexible schedule is required and may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Minimum Requirements 3rd shift: High school diploma/equivalent plus four years of appropriate experience requires.

3rd shift:

• Full-time –Thursday - Sunday, 8:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.
• A flexible schedule is required and may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

United Services, Inc., requires all employees agree to be vaccinated against influenza annually during flu season.

Salary Range for Community Living Counselor: $18.54 - $20.98 per hour depending on experience.

Bilingual Spanish/English Fluency: $19.48- $22.04 per hour depending on experience.
