Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Janitorial Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for individuals seeking part-time employment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all areas within the facility, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors using appropriate cleaning equipment.

- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.

- Refill restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and equipment.

- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.

- Maintain cleanliness of entrance areas, including sweeping and removing debris.

- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

- Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning products.

- Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.

- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff and visitors.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work is a plus.

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures.

- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and buffers.

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness.

- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

- Flexibility to work evenings Monday -Friday off on weekends and holidays as required.

- Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

Must pass a criminal background check
