Clinical Pharmacist - specialty

Location: Mt. Prospect, IL area

Schedule: AMs; full-time; Monday - Fri. No weekends! No major holidays!
(Will also consider 2 part-time RPhs)

We are seeking professional and skilled Clinical Pharmacists to help one of our specialty pharmacies. Our client needs help with a project. Ideal candidate has a background with Case Management/Care Plan review.

Required Pharmacist Qualifications:

• 1 year of Clinical experience working in a Specialty or Home Infusion pharmacy setting
• Illinois Pharmacist license
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and monitors drug therapy relative to the total needs of the patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Reviews patents' records & assesses progress to goal.
• Will be working in CareTend to review the information and complete the assessment.
• Adhere to organization policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Adhere to all appropriate standards of accreditation and participate in quality assurance activities.

Compensation: depends on experience, skill set and availability.
