Bodega on Smith is currently seeking two dynamic individuals to join our team as Part-Time Deli Cashiers, one for daytime shifts and one for nighttime shifts. Position Type: Part-Time (25-30 hours per week)
Daytime Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Varied days, Tuesday through Saturday, 3-4 days per week)
Nighttime Hours: 7:00 PM - 2:00 AM (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)
Compensation:

• Starting Pay: $14 per hour
• $1 per hour raise after 30 days of successful employment
• Guaranteed additional tips of at least $2 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Efficiently process customer orders, handling cash and card transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with restocking and inventory management
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries
• Prepare and assemble deli sandwiches (training provided)

Qualifications:

• Energetic and outgoing personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Flexible schedule
• Must be presentable, well-spoken, and polite
