This is a temporary summer position located in Scranton, PA.

Assignment Schedule: First week of June 2024 through the end of August 2024. Position has flexibility to work anywhere from 20 to 40 hours per week.

The Child Care Staff will work with our Group Supervisors to coordinate the educational, social, emotional, and physical development of the children in the program.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise small groups of children during activities.
• Assist in food preparation and serving, as directed by Group Supervisor; assist in monthly food inventory.
• Assist co-workers in all aspects of Child Care operation.
• Assist co-workers in ensuring the Center’s compliance with regulations concerning operations in the Child Care Center.
• Assume responsibility for opening and closing the Center.
• Implement daily program activities under the guidance of the Center Director.
• Perform tasks, administrative and otherwise, to insure smooth operation of child care center.

Education/Experience/Licensure:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
