Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Ashtabula, OH, 44004

Shift: Full-Time, 1st Shift (40 hours per week)

Pay:

• Hourly Salary: $38.00 per hour, with potential increases based on experience
• Annual Salary: $79,040

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 with an 18-month commitment

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms (including transthoracic and transesophageal) and other related tests on patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order.
• Analyze results and prepare preliminary reports for physicians.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards.
• Stay current with advancements in echocardiography and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Minimum of [insert required years] years of experience as an Echo Technologist preferred.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in operating echocardiography equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare team.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and assisting patients as needed.
