Job Description
United is currently seeking an entry level design engineer from the Civil discipline to join our growing team in our Greenwood Village, CO office. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-discipline team of engineers and designers, supporting our Energy Delivery Group in the design of utility substations, high voltage transmission lines, and distribution systems.
The successful candidates will work with experienced engineers and designers to complete engineering assignments of limited to moderate complexity. They will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning and design phase for projects under the direct supervision of a Supervising Civil (Structural) Engineer.
The design engineer will interact with other disciplines, project support groups, vendors, and client representatives as appropriate on assigned projects and is responsible for initiating and developing engineering drawings through completion in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project.
