Overview
Home Health CNAs provide personal care and related services in the home, under the instruction of the RN Case Manager. Tasks to be performed by an CNA must be assigned by the plan of care and performed under an RN who will be responsible for the client care/services provided by the CNA. Under no circumstances may an CNA be assigned to titrate or change the settings of oxygen concentrators, receive or reduce any intravenous procedures, or any other sterile or invasive procedures, other than
rectal temperatures or enemas.
