Position Summary
Senior level Technician. Assemble and/or installation of various mechanical or electrical components and sub-assemblies where operations and sequence are specified by blueprints, schematics, wire cards, diagrams or previous practice as instructed by the Director of Operations and Work Order of United Dynamics, drawings or other technical data. Adhere to all company procedures, core values and policies.

This position involves safety sensitive job tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee or others, including but not limited to the operation of a motor vehicle, other vehicle, equipment, machinery or power tools. Repairing, maintaining or monitoring the performance or operation of any equipment, machinery or manufacturing process, the malfunction or disruption of which could result in injury or property damage. As set out more fully in the Drug and Alcohol Policy, employees in this position are subject to discipline up to and including termination of employment in the event of a positive drug test for marijuana components or metabolites, regardless of whether such employee has a valid Oklahoma medical marijuana license.
Requires a willingness to work outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines, if necessary.
Must be able to communicate in the English Language.
Responsibilities:
· Works independently with limited supervision
· Develops assembly order and methods of production
· Develops troubleshooting methods for reworking products
· Assemble and/or test product according to Work Order instructions, Drawings, ATP’s or other technical data
· Ensure the quality of work done throughout the Manufacturing area meets or exceeds company and customer requirements
· Ensure the Quality Management System is followed throughout the Manufacturing process
· Report all Manufacturing/Production problems, safety, tool or FOD concerns to the Manufacturing Lead/Supervisor or Director of Operations as they arise
· Work is performed in adherence to applicable tool control guidelines
· Work is performed in a safe manner in compliance with applicable OSHA guidelines
· Work is performed with adherence to applicable foreign object damage (FOD) guidelines
· Ensure that all Non-Conforming parts are identified accordingly and moved to Quality in a timely manner
· Work to resolve all processes throughout the Manufacturing area
· Assist and train other Manufacturing workers whenever possible and in a manner deemed proper to produce products conforming to company and customer requirements
· Troubleshoot failures both mechanical and electrical
· Independently setup test equipment
· Rework and repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
· Assist in developing and documenting processes, procedures and work methods
· Other duties as assigned
Reporting Relationship:
For shop priorities and day-to-day technical situations, follows the Manufacturing Shop Lead/Supervisor. Administratively reports to the Director of Operations and has support responsibility to the Chief Operations Officer and Program Manager.
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical Requirements:
· Basic electronics training in a military tech school or college environment
· 10 years’ electronic equipment operation and maintenance experience or combination of vocational training and on the job experience to equal 10 years
· Basic troubleshooting experience obtained in a military tech school or college environment
· A & P (Airframe and Powerplant) License preferred
· Blueprint Reading
· Solder Training
