We Appreciate You! Summary/Objective The employee will be responsible for all day-to-day functions of the Community Employment Hilton Fairlawn location. Also, this position is responsible for enforcing and maintaining all policies, procedures, and maintenance and security requirements. Further, this position will promptly, professionally, and courteously meet internal and external customer needs. This position will assist individuals with developmental disabilities to ensure the cleanliness of the lobby, public restrooms, guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, stairways, public vending areas, and guest elevators of the Hilton Fairlawn. Major Work Duties Essential Job Functions
Empty room attendant trash and collect soiled linen from corridors.
Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors and room numbers on guest room doors and elevator doors.
Obtain amenities and supplies for room attendants.
Stock and maintain inventory, cleanliness, and order in storerooms.
Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by the supervisor.
Ability to communicate with all levels of the department and organization
Ability to lift, bend, twist, and move up to 50 lbs. repetitively
Effectively communicate problems and issues with management.
Qualifications
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
Must follow all OSHA safety regulations
Must possess a positive customer service attitude and image
Must be willing to work as a team member
Follow instructions
Handle change in routines
Display appropriate socialization at all times
Must have no more than 4 points on your driver's license as you will be tansporting clients to and from the worksite.
Supervisory Responsibility
Must train and oversee crew members (per DODD rules and properly supervising and safety techniques, reviewing the training effectiveness)
Must maintain a Safety Program for crew members, reviewing for continuous improvements
Must maintain all crew members' ISPs, making sure the most recent ISP for each crew member has at the work site (per DODD rules)
Must follow MUI/UIR reporting procedures (per CSBDD and the DODD rules)
Must report any changes or behavior issues to the crew member's Service & Support Administrator (SSA), the Weaver Community Employment General Manager, and the Training and Advocacy Manager
Must complete and submit all required paperwork (tracking forms, etc.)
