Pay:

$22-25 an Hour (more depending on experience)

* Davis-Bacon/Federal Certified Wages Available

Days/Hours/Location:

  • Monday - Friday
    • Weekends possible if needed
  • 10-12 hour days
  • 50 Weekly 
  • Home daily 
  • Day shift 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to expertly pour, level & smooth concrete using a rake, trowel, float and screed (both handheld and power tool versions) on a variety of surfaces including roads, sidewalks, curbs & floors 
  • Read blueprints 
  • Setting forms that hold concrete in place 
  • Cleaning & inspecting surfaces for pouring issues 
  • Cut & lay joints out on concrete 
  • Use & work around heavy equipment 
  • Monitor & understand the effects of the weather on the curing process 
  • Apply sealing & hardening components 
  • Mold & construct expansion joints using joiners & edging tools 
  • Knowledge of handheld & power tools including but not limited to:
    • Power vibrator
    • Cutting saws 
    • Concrete hand tools 
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to:
    • Safety glasse
    • Work boots (steel or composite toe)
    • Respiratory masks
    • Hearing protection 

Physical requirements including but not limited to: 

  • Ability to stand and kneel for extended periods 
  • Ability to lift over 30 lbs 
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week in an outside environment
