Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning:
    • Conduct site assessments and surveys to understand project requirements.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, materials, and labor requirements.
    • Create and maintain project budgets and cost estimates.
  2. Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise roofing crews and subcontractors.
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
    • Monitor and assess team performance and provide feedback.
  3. Materials and Equipment Management:
    • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of roofing materials and equipment.
    • Ensure that all materials meet quality and safety standards.
    • Manage inventory and oversee material usage.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure workmanship meets industry standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or defects promptly.
  5. Safety Compliance:
    • Enforce safety protocols and regulations on the job site.
    • Conduct safety meetings and training for the team.
    • Address safety concerns and incidents as they arise.
  6. Client Communication:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and keep them informed about project progress.
    • Address client concerns, questions, and requests.
    • Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Project Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed records of project activities, including daily logs, change orders, and progress reports.
    • Prepare and submit required documentation to regulatory authorities, if necessary.
  8. Problem Solving:
    • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the course of the project.
    • Make decisions to keep the project on track and within budget.
  9. Cost Control:
    • Monitor project expenses and take measures to control costs.
    • Review and approve invoices from suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in roofing or construction, with a strong understanding of roofing systems and materials.
