Description
The marketing and communication specialist will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional materials. Create messaging strategies and marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness, services, and promote outreach and health related activities to improve the health of our patients and communities. This includes advertising, developing and maintaining website and social media content, develop organizational branding, compose internal announcements, market and advertise outreach events and health initiatives in our communities. Other duties preparing annual report, grant writing and reporting, updating and preparing annual marketing plan and reporting on results and accomplishments monthly. Must have the following qualities: friendly, personable, engaging, works well with others, true team player, disciplined, fast learner, creative, proficient on medical/dental/behavioral verbiage and must navigate social media proficiency.
· Develops and implements marketing campaigns by preparing marketing plans and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
· Develops and maintains promotional materials by collaborating with vendors and completing modifications in house whenever possible.
· Produce copy for internal intranet, external website and all social media avenues.
· Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
· Engage with community, network at events, drive brand awareness and promote health initiatives for better patient care and outcomes.
· Craft and send regular newsletters, collaborate on wellness articles for our website, social media, and local media, including newspapers and radio.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; learning necessary software and programs to complete marketing materials in house.
· Research, identify, review and vet grant opportunities.
· Collaborate with health center staff, community organizations on proposals.
· Write, edit, and report on grant activities.

· Current CPR Certification
· Reliable Transportation and willing to travel locally.
· Valid Arizona driver’s license
· Experience working in Healthcare Industry preferred.
· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or 2-4 years of documented marketing and writing experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Publisher Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Adobe Photoshop
· Knowledge of google analytics or other software; ability to analyze data, trends, and develop plans to improve, change, adapt accordingly.
