YOUR LIFE AS A CAR DEALERSHIP LOT TECH

This entry-level automotive position is full-time and typically works between the hours of 10 AM - 7 PM, Monday - Saturday. We are closed on Sunday! Will discuss a set work schedule at the interview.

As an entry-level Car Dealership Lot Tech, you are vital to the workflow of our business. You are responsible for arranging the automobiles on our lot, ensuring that everything is neat and orderly. You assign a stock control number to each car and carefully catalog and store keys. When a vehicle is sold, you deliver the car to our new vehicle preparation department.

You check the vin number of each automobile against the invoice. Carefully, you inspect for damage and verify the presence of the accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and radio or stereo equipment. As you inspect each car, you record a detailed description of the damages and list all missing items on the delivery receipt. When necessary, you fuel each vehicle and do minor maintenance, including changing windshield wipers, replenishing fluids, installing license plates, changing out vehicle batteries, and more. Working seamlessly with the mechanic and auto body shop tech, you communicate well with the entire team. Being a team

player and helping out wherever needed.
