Shift : Mid Shift 7 : 00am - 5 : 00pm; Monday through Thursday. (Overtime when necessary.)

SUMMARY

This position will work closely with company leadership to provide Maintenance and EHS support to our United Alloy Great River facility in Quincy, IL.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING OR WE'D LIKE TO SEE :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Electro-Mechanical OR Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health degree preferred.
• Experience in Maintenance and / or EHS required.
• Must be familiar with metal fabrication concepts and processes.
• Must have experience with maintenance of fabrication equipment.
• Detail oriented, with exceptional problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environment to include Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Basic computer and ERP knowledge for looking up SRO's, P.O. requests, and closing maintenance ticket SRO's
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Ability to apply commonsense and understanding to carry out detailed and written oral instructions.
• Must perform all duties in conjunction with UAI and ISO requirements.
• Frequently required to work on equipment that may contain live electrical parts, high pressure vessels / piping and spring-loaded apparatuses.

Ability to read, comprehend and implement lock-out tag-out procedures is required.

• Must be able to regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move 100 pounds with an assist.
