Our Marketing and Loyalty team is the strategic force behind United’s industry-leading brand and experience, supporting revenue growth by turning customers into lifelong United flyers. Our loyalty team manages United MileagePlus®, building travel and lifestyle partnerships that customers can engage with every day, and works with our Star Alliance partners to ensure United can take you anywhere you want to go.

The Associate Domestic Co-Brand position will drive acquisitions growth within the United Employee channels. They will be assigned to a United Hub/region and will build relationships with Flight Attendants, Airport Agents, Club Agents, and airport leadership to achieve their region's goals. They will directly engage in person with employees about the United CoBrand credit card program to drive participation and program compliance providing coaching in the moment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts base visits with airport teams to encourage increased participation
  • Discuss the card program with employees and answer any questions about promotions or incentives
  • Grow participation among employees and drive account volumes for their airport and region
  • Partners with the Manager to develop tools to track performance of their base and region that drives account growth. May include interactive signs for the airport, reports for airport leadership, and weekly/monthly check-in meetings with senior leadership to discuss trends
  • Handles compliance and collateral within their region, ensuring the teams have appropriate materials to promote the card
  • Ensures airport employees and Flight Attendants leverage approved scripts to promote the card
  • Partners with the leadership or supervisors in the airport to resolve any open concerns from our bank partner, should a compliance issue occur.

NOTE: This position will be onsite at Los Angeles International Airport 5 days per week with varying hours to support events and meet with operational employees which may include early mornings and late evenings on occasion. Project based weekend events may occur. Willingness to travel two to three days per month will be required with occasional overnight trips.

Qualifications - External

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High School diploma
  • 1 year experience within Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Management, Inflight or Airport Operations
  • Strong Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of loyalty programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • Must pass background check and be able to acquire and maintain credentials vital for the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • AA/BA/BS
  • 3 years’ experience within Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, or Airline Inflight
  • Prior Flight Attendant, Airport Operations, or Aviation Management Experience
  • Sales, marketing, or finance experience within the airline business
  • Marketing services industry expertise

The salary for this position is $66,560 to $74,500, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Bonus eligible: yes.
