United Air Temp is Hiring an Inventory Logistics Manager Near Lorton, VA

We're looking for an experienced Inventory Logistics Manager to help our inventory operations in the DMV

area. In this role, you will directly supervise inventory personnel, ensuring efficient inventory processes

that align with our sales objectives and customer satisfaction goals. Reporting to the COO, you will

collaborate with various departments to optimize our inventory management practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage inventory operations personnel in the DMV area, fostering collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Contribute to designing, enhancing, and implementing inventory tracking systems and policies to improve inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor material and supply levels, identify shortages, and maintain accurate records to keep inventory levels under 3%.
  • Coordinate daily replenishments and deliveries to maintain optimal inventory levels across truck and branch locations and central distribution areas, as well as install material supplies warehouses.
  • Audit detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
  • Evaluate part supplies activity to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent excessive surplus or inefficiencies.
  • Monitor part pricing for accuracy and identify cost-effective opportunities through alternative recommendations or market pricing analysis.
  • Lead hiring and training efforts for new employees and conduct cycle training for direct employees and stakeholders as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage personnel, resolve conflicts, and maintain motivation.
  • Critical-thinking abilities to develop action plans and regularly assess their effectiveness.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, people, and processes.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills to anticipate and address issues proactively.
  • Prior managerial experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or supply management or equivalent work experience (minimum five years).

Compensation:

$65,000 - $75,000 yearly
