Purpose
The receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping. Will also assist with various functions in the parts department.
Essential Functions
The following are essential functions of this position:
- Answers telephone and directs calls accordingly.
- Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, customers and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person or department.
- Operates listed office machines as required.
- Duplicates and distributes materials as needed/requested.
- Assists public with the use of department facilities.
- Assists service department with scanning, filing and other paperwork.
- Assist Customers with part orders and small equipment sales.

Required Education and Experience
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting and bookkeeping.
- Two years of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Must have valid driver license with no restrictions.
