Unison Systems Inc. is Hiring a Senior Release Manager Near Englewood, CO
Location: DTC; hybrid
Duration: 6 months with option to extend
Experience managing multiple, large and complex releases simultaneously.
Strong understanding of all aspects of release management; product release cadence, bundles, collection sequencing, bundling documentation, etc.
Essentially how to be an "air traffic controller" with multiple stacked projects, working within a large system of different drops where all parts are active.
Experience with complex Jira tickets
Understanding of the release management process - someone who can own the process.
Very process focused
Strong communication skills - ability to say no without just saying no
Experience with : Chalk pages, Jira dashboards, Program dashboards, etc.
Responsibilities
- Record and report release and deployment request metrics to ensure alignment with SLAs and release schedules.
- Coordinate documentation, communications, and training for releases. Work with teams to ensure final steps of the release and deployment plan are complete.
- Manage and optimize the flow of work products using various tools, such as the Program Boards, Chalk Pages, and custom JIRA dashboards.
- Cross application/ department/ function release planning, coordination and execution
- Strong stakeholder communication experience
- Heavy release scheduling and coordination
- Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Collaborative, excellent communication, holistic view and systems thinker
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
- Self-starter, self-motivated, driven individual
- Learning mindset, organizational skills,
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation tools
- Experience using JIRA
- Display professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion
- Ability to speak with people of all backgrounds and expertise, connecting with business leaders and technologists
