Overview

Unison, Inc., a leading provider for procurement and grants solutions to the federal marketplace, is seeking an Information Assurance lead. This position requires an active TS/SCI with full scope polygraph clearance and is located in Columbia MD. 

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide guidance for information assurance activities and deliverables.
• Actively participate in information assurance-related information exchanges, formal reviews, analysis of data, and monitoring of progress for future deployments.
• Research information assurance concerns and providing guidance and recommendations for Government action.
• Maintain documentation and conduct activities necessary to comply with the Government’s implementations of their Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the following categories: Select Security Controls, Implement Security Controls, Assess Control, Authorize, and Continuous Monitoring.
• Execute disciplined Information Assurance processes and practices in accordance with the Government’s Certification and Accreditation policies and procedures, and recommend appropriate updates to the Systems Security Plan (SSP), Security Concept of Operations (SECONOP) and other IA documentation.
• Support the Security test design, execution and evaluation as defined in the Security Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (SRVTM). Monitor current security controls and features, and provide recommendations as necessary.
• Respond to audit requests from the Government audit team. Provide information as requested to meet audit requirements related to IA tasks.
• Maintain application configuration conformity to the Government’s Authentication Environment and support SSP migrations to required criteria, including DCID, NIST/RMF, ICD, FISMA, and FISCAM requirements.
• Support security scans.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as an ISSO
• Experience to include at least one of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementations, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 1 or higher
