Unison Health is Hiring a Program Manager, Jail Services Near Toledo, OH

Program Manager - Jail Based
Unison Health is seeking a manager that will be responsible for the supervision of direct service staff within our jail-based program. An individual that follows all policies/procedures set forth by the program, agency, Mental Health Board, and State of Ohio. This position will coordinate services internally with other departments and externally when appropriate.
Education/Experience/Other Requirements :
  • At least five years' experience in a clinical position in a mental health setting or related area required.
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a correction's setting preferred.
  • These positions require licensure as a Psychologist, LPCC, LISW, LICDC or RN.
  • Dual mental health and chemical dependency licensure required for AOD areas, one of which must be an independent license.
  • Supervisory designation for LPCC and LISW and LICDC is preferred.
  • If permitted in program area, a Master level LSW or LPC working on attainment of independent licensure may be considered.
Duties:
  • Provides management, selection, direct supervision, and evaluation to all assigned personnel according to established policies and procedures and level of license.
  • Provides leadership in the direction, development, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned program area in compliance with appropriate policies/procedures and governing guidelines. Conducts individual and group supervision according to program procedures, license requirements, and individual needs.
  • Provides and documents direct services as needed.
  • Maintains current knowledge of issues in the field.
  • Markets the program internally and externally to assure adequate census.
