Job Description: Senior Business Financial Analyst

Position Overview: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Financial Analyst to join our finance team. As a Senior Business Analyst for Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial analysis, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives to optimize the financial performance of our organization. Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
   • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
   • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement in financial processes.
   • Assist in the development and execution of the company's financial strategies and long-term financial plans.
   • Provide input and insights into budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities to support strategic decision-making.

   • Streamline financial workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial data management and reporting.
   • Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving financial processes and optimizing resource allocation.
   • Analyze complex financial data, utilizing advanced tools and techniques, to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
   • Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
   • Provide thought leadership and expert guidance on financial matters, contributing to strategic discussions and initiatives.
   • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including finance teams, business units, and external partners, to gather requirements and understand business needs.
   • Act as a liaison between finance and other departments, fostering effective communication and alignment of objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
• Proven experience of 5 years as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a senior capacity within a corporate finance setting.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling proficiency.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and project management.
