Our growing 3PL Network is expanding and we are looking for a skilled Manager to help with our tremendous growth.
Plan, organize, and monitor resources (people/equipment/time) to ensure a smooth and consistent department operation that satisfies internal and external customers. Ensure that department resources are optimized by monitoring performance indicators, such as employee time and department production data, identifying problems, and taking appropriate corrective action. Maintain personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish department goals. Evaluate and recommend internal and external applicants for hire as Regular Associates. Plan and coordinate work, train and motivate Associates, monitor Associate job performance, and conduct and record formal evaluations and corrective actions. Ensure Associate ability to perform their jobs in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
The Operations Manager is responsible for:
· Managing and overseeing daily operations within the department
· Meeting customer and company KPI's and SLA's
· Facilitating effective Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis as needed
· Training, monitoring, evaluating, supervising, and disciplining employees based on goals and duties
· Verifying employee time/payroll information and authorize overtime
· Assisting in managing department workforce, reinforcing company policy and procedure and establishing and maintaining healthy working relationship across the organization
· Showing initiative and making suggestions for improving processes
· Assisting with planning and budget process
· Working in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with complex deadlines
· Communicating with customers, vendors and employees
· Coordinating with other departments within the company
· Overseeing all Shipping/Receiving operations
· Ensuring that all customer IRG requirements are met
· Able to make quick and precise decisions.·
The successful candidate will have:
· Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
· 3 years Supervision of associates
· Previous production & manufacturing experience
· 2 years fulfillment/pick/pack/ship environment
· Hourly/Daily reporting experience
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills
· Intermediate level Excel and Word
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Ability to problem solve
· Proven strong organizational and time management skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 2nd Shift 3:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday - Friday
- 70K - 80K Salary
