Duties and Responsibilities
UNIS is one of the largest & fastest growing Logistics companies. We are looking for qualified Class A Drivers for our LTL Division.
As a LTL Class A Driver for UNIS Transportation you will transport non-hazardous freightwith consistent volumes picking up and delivering to our rapidly expanding nationwide network of terminals. This is a Monday through Friday Start time will vary based on loads.

- Working in tandem with the company policies.
- Maintain company vehicle appearance.
- Completing all tasks as assigned by the dispatcher
- Use of hand truck, pallet jack and forklift
- When not on a driving assignment , assist in the warehouse with general labor tasks
- Assist with unloading and loading trailers
- Assist where ever needed to help generate revenue
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Verifiable work experience as a Class A CDL Driver (minimum 2 years of current verifiable experience).
- Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record.
- Meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation and possess a valid DOT Medical card.
- No DUI’s or major driving violations.
- Satisfactorily pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Willing to submit a background check and provide employment recommendations.
- Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance.
- High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Pass Background Check / Drug Screen
- Any related discipline with about 1 3 years of experience as a driver.
